Abbadale is only four minutes walk from the world renowned Newlands rugby and cricket stadiums and Keurboom Park. Cavendish Square (with its upmarket shops, restaurants and cinemas), the Western Province Cricket and Sports Club, Newlands Swimming Pool, Sports Science Institute and famous schools such as Bishops and Rondebosch, are also within walking distance (or an easy three minute drive away).

Table Mountain, V & A Waterfront, Nelson Mandela Gateway to Robben Island as well as museums, theatres, restaurants, night clubs, gardens, parliament buildings and other attractions of the historic heart of Cape Town are all within 15 minutes drive...

Other major sites such as Wine Routes, Cape Point, Hout Bay, Simonstown, Grand West Casino, Canal Walk, Ratanga Junction, the best beaches and Stellenbosch lie a little further afield, but are easily accessible.

Kingsbury Hospital
Abbadale is five minutes' drive from the Kingsbury with all its attendant and related medical facilities such as the Cape Fertility Clinic in Library Square. Patients waiting for admission or treatment and their relatives are welcome to stay at Abbadale Guest House. We understand that exact dates of stays cannot always be stated beforehand, and we are aware of sensitive personal medical matters.

University of Cape Town
UCT is just up the road, five minutes' drive away. Abbadale offers suitable accommodation for visiting lecturers, parents coming to place their first-year sons and daughters, and eventually, for graduation ceremonies. We would love to share in the adventure of a university education.

Kelvin Grove Club
Kelvin Grove Club is 120 metres from Abbadale's front door, so there is no more convenient Guest House for you to use if you are visiting Kelvin.
