Cricket We hear the roar of the crowd, then rush to the TV to watch the wicket or six! The fireworks during the IPL opening and matches were spectacular. We are the last house before the road is closed, so strolling across to the game couldn't be easier. |

University of Cape Town Founded in 1829 as the South African College, UCT is the oldest university in South Africa. By 1900 it had become a fully fledged university. Today it has 6 faculties – Commerce, Engineering, Law, Health Sciences, Humanities and Science. Summer School is held in January and February before the students arrive. With Devil’s Peak as a backdrop, its situation is spectacular, and the Jameson Hall provides a pillared focus to the buildings spread along the mountain slopes.
